Charities
There are so many hundreds of charities out there and we cannot support them all. These are just a few of the good causes we have supported over the years.
Thank you so much for your generous donations of money, goods or time - it is greatly appreciated.
Two of our school values demonstrate this and the importance of why we support others.
Love others – “My command is this: love each other as I have loved you.” John 15 v 22
Everyone join in – “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133 v 1
Always do your best – “Work at everything you do with all your heart.” Colossians 3 v 23
Reach out – “Do to others as you want them to do to you.” Luke 16 v 33
Never give up – “I can do all this by the power of Christ. He gives me strength.” Philippians 4 v 13
This child in Y2 was really struck by our fourth value: Reaching out and wanted to make a worthwhile donation to our work with Arnold Foodbank and the Friary.
Community outreach
We worked with Morrisons and the Lowdham FLAG outreach group this autumn to provide some of our families with care packages for the half-term break. Boxes of food and cupboard essentials were handed out to ease the burden over this two-week break.
We also donated some of the parcels to our two local nominated charities this year: The Friary and Arnold Foodbank.
