We are very grateful to all those who support us. Whether it is through financial assistance, donations of goods/gifts or through time and energy, we are very appreciative.

Everything we do here is for the benefit of the children and your donations - big or small - help to do that.

Thank you.

DARE: Drug, Alcohol and Resistance Education

https://lifeskillseducation.co.uk/

Every summer, our Y6 pupils get the opportunity to work with a DARE Officer on the 10-session programme. This gives the children a brilliant insight into the dangers of drugs, alcohol, knife crime, peer pressure and gives them advice and guidance as they prepare themselves for the next step in their educational journey.

We are grateful to DARE Officer Spencer for her work with the children and to our sponsors - we would not be able to continue without their financial help.

A huge thank you to Morrisons for their provision of 'build-a-pizza' boxes and several other family packages. Much needed and we are grateful.

We are working closely with Clare (Morrisons Community Champions Netherfield) to provide for the families who need the support.

Working with the Co-op!

We are now working with the Co-op as part of their community causes campaign. We have been chosen and will be linked to the stores in the village in Lowdham and in Burton Joyce.

Every time you use the Co-op, our cause receives 2p from every £1 spent! This will help fund our Forest School and wellbeing drive for pupils in every year group. We have lots to do and build!

If yu don't yet have a membership card, please do sign up.

Our cause is HERE.

BOOKS!

We are passionate about reading here at Lowdham CofE Primary and we are very grateful to the following companies for donating towards our new book drive.

Your financial gifts ensure that we can purchase some new, exciting and much-needed books to share with our children.

THANK YOU.

The Parish Council has generously donated £250 in our book drive! Thank you.

Lowdham Leisureworld has gifted £200 as part of our book drive. Many thanks.

Khan's Indian Takeaway has donated £50 towards our new books. Thank you.

We work very closely with Lowdham Co-op on Main St.

They very generously donated a cheque for £250 recently to help fund our book drive.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, many shops and businesses have had to close down and, at the time of writing, schools too but for the children of key workers.

During this time, there have been concerns about children and families being fed and looked after, especially as all KS1 (infants) are entitled to a free school meal at school.

We are incredibly grateful to the following companies who have supported us as a school and some members of our community.

The Co-op on Main Street for their donations of bread, vegetables, fruit and milk. All this has gone to very grateful families. Some of the tasty pastries have been enjoyed by the hard-working staff too!

Tom Brown's Brasserie in Gunthorpe for providing us with wonderful portions of cottage pie to be refrigerated or frozen. Amazing generosity.

It is at times like this when we see communities being put to the test and responding in brilliant ways.

March, 2020

Thank you to the Railway Pub in Lowdham for their generosity with raffle prizes, staff support and organising events for the community that benefit the school.

The Co-op on Main Street has been a generous donator of raffle prizes, funding and support for years and we are very grateful.

It was a real testament to how much the store is part of the village when our Y6 children wrote letters of support earlier this year (2019) when the shop was broken into.

Thank you, Southwell Lions for your generous donation of £150 towards our Y6 SATs breakfast club. Photos in the gallery.
Thank you, Tesco (Carlton) for your voucher of £20 for our Y6 SATs breakfast club. Photos in the gallery.
