It is important for children to have school clubs to attend that will help them find and discover their interests and talents. Clubs also help to broaden children’s thinking and give opportunities for informal fun learning that sometimes the classroom cannot facilitate.
There are many extra curricular activities that take place at school. They may take place at different times of the school year and are available for different age groups.
Look at the school newsletter or contact the school office for more information.
Get your children into the school day. Our breakfast club runs every school morning. We supply the children a choice of breakfast food along with a drink. When they are ready they can then play with a variety of games and toys.
Breakfast Club runs from 8am to the start of school. After School Club runs from 3.30 – 5.45pm Monday to Thursday and from 3.30 to 5pm on Fridays. This is paid childcare with a snack and many activities including the outside areas and computer suite. Places must be booked and paid for a month in advance and there are waiting lists for some sessions. Booking forms are sent out with the newsletter. Ele Haslam-Welch is out ‘Out of School Club’ manager and she can be contacted via the school office.
