  Our Pupils say:

Listen to a selection of our school pupils talking about school life. You can hear them outline their favourite lessons, school trips, subjects and events. You'll see that there is a great variety of experiences for our children at school giving them a balanced and thorough education.

Listen to our KS1 children singing some of their songs from their end of year play. We all had a great time and the parents really enjoyed seeing all of the hard work that had gone into making the production

  Lowdhams got talent:

Here are a few photos of our "Lowdhams got Talent" show. There were lots of acts and a lot of talented young people showing off what they can do. A really enjoyable event. Well done to everyone who took part.

  History Lesson:

Watch our children exploring the past through examining and talking about World War II artifacts. It's really important to us as a school that our children learn to examine, make deducations from their observations, and then talk through their ideas. You can see this in action in the video to the right.

  Dukes Barn year 5 and 6 residential:

Have a look at the images to the right showing the excellent time that we had at Dukes Barn year 5 and 6 residential. There were so many fun activities and we all had plenty of opportunities to stretch ourselves as individuals and as a team.

We enjoy playing team games and one of those is hit and run cricket. It's great to work together in a competative environment.

Here's a short clip of some of our children who are learning country dancing. They have to learn to listen well to who is about to dance and how to keep in time with the music.

Have a look at some images from our Southwell Minster visit. We learnt a lot about the Minster building, the Christian faith and were able to explore and ask lots of questions.

We love singing in our school. Its an essential way that we express ourselves. Listen to our school choir singing one of their songs.

Have a look at our school sports day. You'll be able to see that we have a wide variety of races and events that keeps everyone entertained and happy. A wonderful day was had by all.

  Year 2 Electricity Experiments:

Have a look at our year 2 children experimenting and learning about electricity. Sometimes the best way to learn is to try and makes things work yourself. Practical hands on experience is a fun way to discover about science.

  School Assembly:

Sometimes we have guest speakers come into school to take our assemblies. It's great to draw on the different talents and resources of the people in the local community and the children love the variety that this brings.

  Food Wraps:

See our children finding out how to make food wraps. Once they have learnt then they create one of their own. It's almost like baking your cake and eating it as they all tasted delicious!

  Using our Computers:

We like to make good use of the excellent computer facilities that we have in school. Listen to some of our children describing how they go about their work whilst on our computer suite.

Our children have a variety of options open to them in the after school club. They can still relax and continue learning in our rich school environment.

Lowdham Primary School Children's Comments: We did a play called Goldilocks. There were lots of nice comments. It was my favourite play.
